The admission process begins soon after the declaration of NBSE results. The college offers General and Honours course in the following subjects-
(i) English (ii) History (iii) Economics (iv) Political Science (v) Sociology (vi) Education.
Honours Degree is provided in the following subjects:
(i) English (ii) Education (iii) Economics (iv) History (v) Political Science
A student taking honours in any of the subjects will have to select two elective subjects. English remains the compulsory subject for pass course. According to the new course structure for English honours opting Elective English (compulsory) Political, Science and Sociology shall remain as the compulsory elective papers.
As per the directives of the NNagalandUniversity the college offers CHOICE-BASED CREDIT SYSTEM courses on
(a) Floriculture (b) Tourism (c) Folklore and Cultural Studies
- Any student who has passed the HSSLC Examination is eligible for admission in Pass course. To be admitted in the honours Course, a student should have a minimum of 45% in the subject. Also, Entrance Test will be conducted for admission to the Honours Course.
- The filled in application form is to be submitted on the specified date(s). The selection list will be notified on the college notice board.
- All selected candidates must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the day of admission, failing which admission will not be allowed.
